Labour would bring back school-made lunches in 2028

Labour says if elected it would bring back the former school lunch programme from Term 1, 2028. It says meals for the 244,400 students at the 1014 schools in the scheme would be made at the school, by iwi and hapū (Māori tribal) groups or local cooks, at $5 each and $6.50 for secondary students in Years 9 to 13.
