Who decides if Hasan execution is shown on TV?

FCC Chairman Brendan Carr, who oversees TV rules, said Oct. 9 that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth will decide whether TV networks can show the Dec. 3 firing-squad execution of convicted Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan at Fort Hood. Carr said it is planned as an online stream, not regular TV, so his agency has no role.
