Intel to Keep Older Computers Upgradeable Into 2027

Intel is reported to be making new Core 200 Raptor Lake Next processors to fit its LGA-1700 connector slot from 2021 in the first half of 2027, working with both older DDR4 and newer DDR5 memory. Gigabyte says the new chips are coming, with Intel saying interest in older DDR4 remains.
