Vance doubts Pentagon will broadcast Fort Hood execution

Vice President JD Vance said Oct. 9 he doubts the Pentagon will livestream Nidal Hasan's Dec. 3 execution by firing squad, and he would not watch. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the execution — at the base where Hasan killed 13 soldiers in 2009 — would be broadcast. It would be the first U.S. military execution in over 60 years.
