Intel Plans New Chips for 2021-Era Boards in 2027

Intel is reported to be readying Core 200 Raptor Lake Next processors for its LGA-1700 socket in the first half of 2027, supporting both DDR4 and DDR5 boards. The socket dates to 2021. Board maker Gigabyte says new chips are coming, with Intel citing continued DDR4 interest.
