Eight Hurt When Rough Air Forces New York Flight to Land in Miami

Eight people were hurt when an Avianca Airbus A320 from Medellín, Colombia, to New York's JFK hit violent shaking in the air and landed in Miami early Oct. 9, U.S. flight safety officials said. Local rescuers said one person was badly hurt and taken to a special hospital. The airline said the rest got new flights to New York.
