Automattic's temporary finance chief leaves after weeks

Jeremy Klaperman has left Automattic after less than a month as its temporary finance chief. Moved up in September 2026 from running finances for its big-business arm to replace Mark Davies, his exit was confirmed by the company. Sources say he was first put back in his old job. No lasting replacement was named as of October 9, 2026.
