Facebook and Instagram Owner Stops TikTok Ads in Seven Countries

Facebook and Instagram will no longer carry ads from TikTok and ByteDance in the US, Canada, Egypt, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam. Owner Meta confirmed the rule covers ads and marketing, and described ByteDance as a part-owner of TikTok in the US.
