Meta Bans TikTok, ByteDance Ads in Seven Countries

Meta has banned advertising from TikTok and ByteDance on Facebook and Instagram in the US, Canada, Egypt, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand and Vietnam. The company confirmed the restriction covering ads and marketing from ByteDance, identified as TikTok's US minority owner.
