
U.S. Diplomat to Greece Reportedly Asked Supporter for Money Before Job Approval
America's top diplomat to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, asked Trump supporter Eric Deters to send $100,000 to her credit card bill days before senators approved her for the job, the Wall Street Journal reported, as a trade for access to leaders. Texts show $50,000 was paid. Her lawyer says it was travel money owed; Deters says he owed nothing.
