Pharmacy company wants chemists to treat more illnesses

Green Cross Health, which runs Unichem and Life pharmacies, wants pharmacists to treat more common illnesses, like getting care at the chemist instead of the clinic. In a public letter on 7 October, boss Rachael Newfield asked all political parties for the change and more funding to ease pressure on hospitals and family doctors, RNZ reported.
