Trump administration bars Microsoft, Adobe, Cognizant, Infosys from PERM green-card step

Microsoft, Adobe, Cognizant and Infosys can no longer use the PERM program, the Labor Department certification employers file before sponsoring workers for permanent U.S. residence. The Trump administration will reject new filings from the four companies and pause pending cases, blocking that required first step.
