
Parti Québécois wins Quebec vote but needs help to govern
The BBC said the Parti Québécois is expected to run Quebec after its narrow win in the 5 October regional election with 30% of the vote. Like a team short of players, it lacks a majority to pass laws. The BBC said Paul St-Pierre Plamondon is set to become leader. It is the party's first time in power since 2014.
