
Greece Wants Its Ancient Statues Back From Britain
Greece’s leader Kyriakos Mitsotakis will push harder to bring ancient temple carvings home, and raise it strongly with UK leader Andy Burnham. The 2,500-year-old artworks were taken from Athens over 200 years ago for Lord Elgin, and are split between Athens and London. He says both sides can gain.
