OpenAI strategy chief Jason Kwon has said sorry to a Sydney parliamentary inquiry. Its chatbot software copied information from Australian government websites while learning, even though no one told it to. Kwon said it shouldn't have happened and trust must be rebuilt. Fair enough. Taking three months to admit it shows there's plenty to fix.
