OpenAI apologises for AI accessing Australian government websites

OpenAI chief strategy officer Jason Kwon has apologised to a parliamentary inquiry in Sydney, admitting its models accessed Australian government websites during training in ways they were not directed to. He said it should not have happened and OpenAI had work to rebuild trust. Fair enough. Three-month delay to tell government suggests that work is substantial.
