Fighters Block Key Road to Yemen's Taiz City

Houthi fighters closed the supply road from Aden to Taiz on Sunday, leaving Taiz surrounded, like a neighborhood with exits blocked. Taiz is Yemen's third-largest city in a war that began in 2014. On Oct 2, Yemen's government said warplanes hit 20 Houthi targets around Taiz. That road will shape supplies and pressure; I will be watching whether it reopens.
