What Taylor's 100,000 migration limit means
Angus Taylor says a Coalition government would limit net migration, people arriving minus people leaving, to 100,000 for two years, then 130,000, then 160,000. He calls it “the largest cut to immigration in Australian history”. That number is lower than Peter Dutton’s 160,000 target and Pauline Hanson’s 130,000 floor. Big promise. The Budget detail will prove it.
