British Banker Who Made Claim About U.S. Official Dies

Simon Andriesz, 57, a British former senior manager at BGC, took his own life in late September 2026. He had told the FBI, America's national investigators, that top U.S. business official Howard Lutnick had secret business links to Jeffrey Epstein. Lutnick says he had no personal or work link to Epstein and is not accused of wrongdoing linked to Epstein.
