Banker who alleged Lutnick-Epstein ties died by suicide

Simon Andriesz, 57, the British former BGC managing director who told the FBI that US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick had undeclared business ties to Jeffrey Epstein, took his own life in late September 2026. Lutnick says he had no personal or professional relationship with Epstein and has not been accused of wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.
