MPs want finance watchdog checked after death of man who spoke out

Cross-party MPs, led by John McDonnell, said the Financial Conduct Authority, the watchdog, must be investigated over how it treats whistleblowers, who report wrongdoing. It follows the death in Thailand on 23 September of Simon Andriesz, a former BGC Partners employee. The MPs said the FCA should pay for outside review. The FCA said it will look at his case.
