MPs call for independent review of FCA after whistleblower death
A cross-party group of MPs led by John McDonnell said the Financial Conduct Authority's treatment of whistleblowers must be investigated after the death of Simon Andriesz. The former BGC Partners employee died in Thailand on 23 September. The MPs said the FCA should pay for an independent review. The FCA is to examine its handling of his case.
