More than 166,000 young people not signed up to vote before 7 November election
More than 166,000 people aged 18 to 24 were not on the official voter list on 1 September, according to Electoral Commission figures reported by RNZ. That means 62.16% are signed up ahead of New Zealand's 7 November general election. The commission said it wants that youth number to be a lot higher.
