Yemen forces take back towns near key Red Sea passage

Yemeni officials said forces supported by Saudi Arabia took back Dhubab, Bab and Hadeid near the Bab al-Mandab Strait on Oct. 5. The strait is a narrow Red Sea passage for world ships, like a hallway for trade, seized by Houthi fighters last month with 150 km of land. Both sides still claim land near Taiz, so control is unclear.
