OpenAI to add hidden marks in EU

OpenAI said Oct. 5 it will add hidden marks to ChatGPT and Codex answers for EU users on all plans in the coming weeks. The system, called textGrain, slightly shapes word choices, like a hidden signature readers cannot see but computers can spot. It will not be a global default.
