British Museum to refund Bayeux visitors turned away for private event

The British Museum in London confirmed visitors turned away from its Bayeux Tapestry display on 30 September will receive a refund and priority rebooking. The Art Newspaper reported hundreds with timed tickets were refused entry after early closure for a Samsung-sponsored event marking the opening of the new Korea exhibition.
