More than 3.4 million people can vote in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026. They will pick three presidents — one Bosniak, one Croat, one Serb — plus leaders for 14 governments across two entities, Brcko District and 10 cantons, or local areas. Like stacked councils, the layers mean governments will likely take a long time to form.
