Greens say most adult bus and train trips would be $2 or less

The Green Party says most adults would pay no more than $2 for each trip on a public bus or train. Think of $2 as the highest price for a normal adult ticket. It is part of its transport plan for the 2026 election. RNZ reported it on 4 October 2026.
