UAE Says Co-Pilot Attacked Captain, Sending Tel Aviv Flight Plunging

The UAE's top prosecutor says the co-pilot of flydubai flight FZ1073, from Dubai to Tel Aviv, stabbed the captain with a crash axe — an emergency cockpit tool — in what officials call an attempted terrorist attack. The plane carrying 182 people dropped 16,625 feet in just over 30 seconds before passengers and crew stopped him and it landed in Tabuk.
