Yemen's Army Pushes Back Major Attack Near Taiz City

Yemen’s government army pushed back several Houthi attacks at once around Taiz on Oct. 2, in what was called the worst fighting in years. Officials said 30 Houthi fighters were killed and 50 were hurt. Local reports said fighters pulled back in Samea after ground attacks left dozens dead or hurt. Taiz may stay the war’s main battleground.
