Diesel in Britain Costs More Than Ever

Diesel now averages 200.01p a litre in Britain, passing £2 for the first time, the RAC motoring group said on 2 October. Petrol-station prices have jumped since late February, when the US-Israel war on Iran disrupted oil from the Gulf. Filling an average family car now costs £110, nearly £32 more than before the war.
