Slovenia's .si domain registrations surge after Trump order

Slovenia's .si registry, which handles Slovenia's country-code internet ending, added almost 13,000 domains in the 24 hours before Oct. 2, 2026, spokesperson Klara Herman said. Registry SI logged 11,000 registrations on Sept. 30 alone, with September purchases up 2,199%, following President Trump's Sept. 29 order telling federal agencies to say SI and super intelligence instead of AI.
