Conservatives promise pensions will keep rising

Conservative deputy leader Alex Burghart said his party would keep the triple lock. It means the state pension paid to older people goes up each year by prices, wages or 2.5%, whichever is highest. He said pensioners were a 'special case' because they have finished work and cannot earn more.
