Gold price holds above $4,100 at $4,147.70

Gold's main U.S. price for October delivery — now the most-used contract — rose $11.30 per troy ounce, or 0.27%, to $4,147.70, Sept. 30 Wall Street Journal data show. My take: it's holding above $4,100, but struggling to break past $4,200.
