Gold gains to $4,147.70, holding above $4,100

Front-month Comex gold for October delivery gained $11.30 a troy ounce, or 0.27%, to $4,147.70, according to Sept. 30 Wall Street Journal data. October is the new front-month contract. I read this as stabilization above $4,100, with $4,200 still capping upside.
