
Greens would put $4.5b aside for caregivers' pay
The Green Party says it would set aside just under $4.5 billion over four years to settle the claim for fair pay for 65,000 care and support workers — people who look after the elderly and disabled — if elected. It says it would scrap the Government's changes and agree the final pay deal by talking with workers and unions.
