WhatsApp lets parents set limits for teens

WhatsApp is adding parental controls for teenage accounts. Parents set a code to limit broadcast channels, short photo updates, who can add teens to group chats, and who sees profile pictures. Teens need a parent’s okay to change these limits, which parents can switch off. Messages and calls stay private so only the two sides can see or hear them.
