WhatsApp announces PIN-gated parental controls for teen accounts

WhatsApp is introducing parental controls for teen accounts. Parents set a PIN to limit Channels use, Status visibility, who can add teens to groups, and who sees profile pictures. Teens need parental approval to change settings, which guardians can disable. Messages and calls remain end-to-end encrypted.
