WhatsApp adds PIN-locked parental controls for teens

WhatsApp is adding parental controls for teen accounts. Parents can use a PIN to restrict Channels broadcasts, Status posts, who can add teens to groups, and who sees profile photos. Teens need parental approval to change the settings, which parents can turn off. Messages and calls stay end-to-end encrypted, meaning only sender and receiver can read them.
