Mattel CEO Ynon Kreiz to step down Oct. 2 after eight years

Mattel announced Ynon Kreiz will step down as chairman and CEO effective Oct. 2 after eight years, Variety reported Sept. 30. He will join David Ellison's Paramount in a senior management role, according to two industry sources cited by Variety. Mattel said Condé Nast chief Roger Lynch will succeed him in both titles from Oct. 2.
