America Stops Canadian Drinks, Dairy and Motorbikes

America is now blocking Canadian alcohol, dairy and motorcycles from 29 September 2026. The block, announced 8 September, hits almost C$1bn in liquor — 93% of Canada's liquor sold abroad in 2025 went to the U.S. — plus whey (liquid from milk), cheese and about 5,000 motorcycles. Prime Minister Mark Carney said harm to Canada's economy will be small.
