Lime's UK Bikes Make £4.7m, Twice Last Year

Lime’s UK rental-bike business earned £4.7m before paying tax in 2025, up from £1.7m, records at Companies House, the business register, show. Sales grew by a third to £148m. Like a library with no desk, riders leave bikes anywhere. The firm runs with few staff. But pavements and pay deals mean officials must balance more bikes with keeping streets tidy.
