Why European Gas Prices Dropped This Week

European gas fell to 72.71 euros per unit of energy on Sept. 25, down 2.98% that day, per Trading Economics. Like reselling tickets, traders sold for profit after fears about conflict pushed prices to multi-month highs earlier in September. Prices are still up 10.53% on the month, heading for the worst week since mid-June, raising winter heating and power bills.
