European Gas Falls Toward Worst Week Since June

European gas fell to 72.71 euros per megawatt-hour, the wholesale energy unit on Sept. 25, down 2.98% on the day, per Trading Economics. Traders sold to lock in profits after geopolitical fears drove prices to multi-month highs earlier in September. Prices remain up 10.53% on the month, heading for the worst week since mid-June, lifting winter heating and power bills.
