Meta's New Muse Assistant Borrowed Ideas From OpenClaw

Meta wrote its Muse assistant fresh but borrowed heavily from OpenClaw, said Nat Friedman, head of product for Superintelligence Labs. Both use a basic instruction sheet called SOUL.md, with similar ways to remember things and do tasks, and the same rule: 'Be genuinely helpful, not performatively helpful.' Friedman said they kept them because Steinberger had got them exactly right.
