Meta's Muse Was Rebuilt From Scratch, but Owes Much to OpenClaw

Meta's Muse was built from scratch but heavily inspired by OpenClaw, said Nat Friedman, head of product for Superintelligence Labs. Both use core instruction files called SOUL.md, plus similar memory and tool systems, and share the instruction 'Be genuinely helpful, not performatively helpful.' Friedman said they kept them because Steinberger had got them exactly right.
