Google to launch AI computer into space on October 1

Google will send a satellite with its AI computer chips aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on October 1. The Project Suncatcher test will see if the chips survive the shaking of launch, space radiation and hot-cold extremes, to learn if future AI centers could work in orbit.
