Google to fly TPUs in space aboard Falcon 9 on October 1

Google plans to launch a satellite carrying Tensor Processing Units aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 on October 1. The Project Suncatcher flight will measure how TPUs handle launch stress, radiation and thermal extremes, testing feasibility of orbital AI data centers.
