Yemen's government says it took back two hills in Taiz

Yemen's government, supported by Saudi Arabia, said Sept. 22, 2026 its soldiers took Mount Qarafan in southern Taiz and Mount Zalat near Kahboub. It said five Houthi opponents were killed and 20 hurt at Qarafan. The fight tries to undo Houthi advances on the Red Sea coast earlier in September. Keeping the hills will show if it counts.
