U.S. Invites Putin to Miami G20 in December

The U.S. has invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to the G20 summit — the annual meeting of the world's major economies — in Miami in December, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced. He spoke after meeting Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at the U.N. conference in New York. Putin last attended in person in 2019.
